About

Astronomy - the science of the structure, properties, origin and evolution of celestial bodies and their systems up to the universe as a whole. In particular, the astronomy is studying the Sun, the planets in the solar system and their satellites, asteroids, comets, meteorites, interplanetary matter, stars and planets vnesolnechnye (ekzoplanety), nebulae, interstellar matter, galaxies and clusters, pulsars, quasars, black holes, and much another.

2009 was declared as the UN International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009). The emphasis is on increasing public interest and understanding of astronomy.

   Stellar Astronomy

The study of stars and stellar evolution is fundamental to our understanding of the universe. Astrophysics of stars evolving on the basis of observational and theoretical understanding, and now with the help of computer simulation.

The formation of stars occurs in the areas of dense dust and gas, known as giant molecular clouds. If there is a destabilization, the cloud fragments can compress under the influence of gravity and form protozvezdu. Dense and hot enough to cause a thermonuclear reaction area, thus begins the main sequence stars.

Almost all elements heavier than hydrogen and helium, formed inside the nucleus stars.
